Latin Beginners 1

This course has no current classes. Please the waiting list.

This course follows the Oxford Latin Course to present basic Latin vocabulary and grammar. The closeness of inspection in reading Latin fosters precision in the use of words. It also provides a model for careful reading and writing of English. The two hour format for each session of this class allows time to look at Roman history and culture as well as language study. Even a modest acquaintance with Latin automatically extends your English vocabulary.
