Prepare for viewing in Sydney this comprehensive New York exhibition of Kandinsky’s art. He was a key artist in moving art from the representational to the abstract. He used vibrant colours, abstracted shapes, dynamic lines and compositions offering the viewer an alternative pathway to experiencing art as a spiritual reality like music. He discovered a relationship between colour and sound and music and painting. Explore his art from Russian folktales through abstraction and “The Blue Rider” movement in German Expressionism to the Bauhaus and then on to Paris. He focused on painting the “inner world” throughout his career that spanned nearly 50 years.
