Japan's Vibrant 17th & 18th Century Streetscapes Explored Through Art

Two works of art are used to examine the 17th and 18th century streetscapes of Tokyo and Kyoto. With an appreciation for Japan’s flow of history and an eye for historical detail, we will consider how these two works of art are excellent resources to understand the contemporary streetscapes of both of these vibrant Japanese cities.
