Enjoy an unique experience as you learn the craft of traditional Japanese doll making. This course includes ALL the materials required to make the beautiful doll of a girl with an expert guidance from the tutor. “Kimekoi” refers to a method tucking the edge of the kimono-cloth into the groove on the doll’s body. “Odekake” dolls wear red kimono with white pattern and stands 21 cm high on black display stand.


A doll making kit valued at $50 is included in the course fee and contains; the body and the head of the doll, Kimono clothing, the display stand, sandpaper and glue.

MATERIALS LIST

  • Apron
  • Sand paper (optional)
  • A small cloth or napkin to wipe off the glue of spatula, after each use of it
  • A pair of fabric scissors
