Continue developing your beginner Italian fluency and confidence with our Beginner Italian: A2.1 Course, suitable for learners who have completed our Beginner Italian: A1 Conclusion course or have approximately 100 hours of prior study. This course helps you build stronger communication skills for everyday situations while expanding your understanding of Italian grammar and vocabulary. It is ideal for learners interested in learning Italian for cultural interest or personal enrichment in a supportive and interactive learning environment.

You will practise everyday communication such as describing and buying clothes and footwear, stating sizes, expressing doubts, asking for changes, expressing tastes, asking for opinions, giving advice, making comparisons, talking about memories and past habits, explaining circumstances, and arguing for and against something. Grammar is taught in context through these topics and includes the verb piacere, indirect object pronouns and ci, the imperative mode (second person singular tu), comparative adjectives, the Imperfect and Present Perfect tenses with time expressions, and suffixes modifying nouns/adjectives (-ino, -one). Vocabulary development focuses on  clothing and footwear, colours, pets at home, and expressions such as _troppo/molt_o and questo/quello to help you develop clear and confident spoken Italian.
