This course is a continuation from German Advanced 5 and is for any student wishing to learn the language for business, travel or everyday use with approximately 420 hours of German required. Students will develop skills to use in conversation, reading, listening and writing. This course aims to build general advanced comprehension and communication skills in German and a review of cultural practices, with a focus on clear explanation of higher level language principles.

- Writing a comment about a social topic (health insurances)
- Indefinite pronouns jemand, niemand, irgendeiner, etc.
- Modal sentences with dadurch, dass, durch, etc.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of this course, students should be able to:
- Can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialisation.
- Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party.
- Can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.
LANGUAGE CLASS TRANSFER POLICY
If you are a new WEA Student and enrol into a language class and subsequently find that you are at the wrong level (whether too high or too low), you are permitted to transfer into another more suitable class at no additional cost, provided that the request is made within the first two classes and is in writing from your tutor directly to the Education Manager. After that point, an administration fee of $30 will apply.
