Grover Cleveland: The Great Two-Timer

Grover Cleveland is generally remembered only as the only American president to serve two non-consecutive terms. In between, he lost an election, although he won the most votes. But Cleveland was also the only president to be married in the White House, and a politician who fought corruption at four levels – in his party, in City Hall, in his state and in Washington. We’ll look at life in the White House with his first lady, who was 28 years his junior and the youngest First Lady in American history, and some of his domestic political fights, against organized labour and for the Gold Standard.
