French Intermediate Conversation (A2)

Consolidate and revise your existing knowledge, expand your vocabulary and improve your conversation skills with extensive oral practice. Students will have the opportunity to focus on specific skills such as extending vocabulary in given areas, improving grammar, and developing a better understanding of specific cultural and social issues. The class is conducted in French and includes individual presentations by the students, as well as group debates and discussion around varied topics. Students enrolling should have enough proficiency and fluency to follow the class.

Four sessions that aim to build higher level comprehension and communication skills in Intermediate French. Consolidate and revise your existing knowledge and expand your vocabulary. Improve your conversation skills with extensive oral practice.

Conversational French and a review of cultural practices, with a focus on clear explanation of language principles.

By the end of this course, students should be able to:

  1. Improve and develop your speaking and listening skills while picking up topical vocabulary.
  2. Be aware of what is happening in this part of the world.

If you are a new WEA Student and enrol into a language class and subsequently find that you are at the wrong level (whether too high or too low), you are permitted to transfer into another more suitable class at no additional cost, provided that the request is made within the first two classes and is in writing from your tutor directly to the Education Manager. After that point, an administration fee of $30 will apply.
