This workshop will be presented by Paul Convy, who will provide advice and guidance on planning and undertaking a digitisation project. Paul will look at the issues you will need to consider when planning a digitisation project such as, the selection of material, how the material in going to be indexed and described, copyright and conservation. He will also discuss scanning techniques and handling tips, advice on image management and storage.


Paul Convy is the Secretary of the Australian Lebanese Historical Society and co-author of the publication Lebanese Settlement in New South Wales: A Thematic History (2008).
