Classic Irish Villages: Rostrevor and Clonakilty

In East Ulster and in West Cork, two urban centres highlight Ireland’s varieties and similarities. Rostrevor sits on picturesque Carlingford Lough at the foot of the Mourne Mountains almost equidistant from Belfast and Dublin. C.S. Lewis found his ‘idea of Narnea’ here. Clonakilty on the south coast is an architectural gem, with good beaches, and stories of Michael Collins. Both have Medieval, Plantation and Ascendancy features as well as fine dining and great walks.

This class will be delivered online via the online platform Zoom. Enrolling students need to ensure they have an email, a reliable internet connection, microphone/speakers and access to a tablet, smartphone or computer.
