Central Europe in Focus: Vienna

With almost 8 million annual visitors, Vienna is one of Europe's most visited cities. Famous for the 1815 Congress of Vienna, which ended the Napoleonic Wars, the Austrian capital today is not only home to some thirty international organisations, incl. OPEC, but also one of four official UN seats: UNO-City. The historic Old Town and Schönbrunn Palace are UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the Hofburg Treasury boasts the Imperial Regalia of the Holy Roman Empire and the 19th cent. Austrian Empire, and the Kunsthistorische Museum is home to Old Masters such as Bruegel, Rembrandt, Rubens, Tizian, Velazquez and many others.

This course will be delivered both face-to-face at WEA Sydney and online via the online platform Zoom simultaneously.
