This advanced Ancient Greek course is ideal for students who have completed our Intermediate Ancient Greek Conclusion course or have approximately 200+ hours of prior study and wish to continue developing their skills at an advanced level of Ancient Greek. This course focuses on refining your ability to interpret and translate Ancient Greek texts with confidence while consolidating your understanding of complex grammatical structures and stylistic features. It is ideal for learners interested in learning Ancient Greek for cultural interest or personal enrichment in a supportive and interactive learning environment.

You will work with a range of Ancient Greek texts, developing skills in close reading, translation, and textual analysis. The course focuses on accurate translation from Ancient Greek into English to reinforce grammatical precision. You will explore comprehension, literary appreciation, and critical response, while also examining Greek thought, values, and historical context. Grammar is reinforced through application, enabling you to engage with Ancient Greek texts independently and with increasing confidence.

Please note: An Ancient Greek-English dictionary is recommended for this course to assist with translations of text.
