Begin your Ancient Greek learning journey by learning the Ancient Greek alphabet, reading system, writing and pronunciation patterns. With no previous Ancient Greek study required, this course establishes the foundations for recognising and reading Ancient Greek letters and understanding basic pronunciation patterns.

Build on these foundations by learning first and second declension nouns, the definite article and agreement with nouns, together with the present indicative of regular verbs and εἰμί (“to be”). Develop an understanding of basic sentence structure, subject and predicate patterns, and introductory agreement.
