This course is broken up into four (4) sections. They are:

  1. Plan the Production Process for Advertisements
  2. Evaluate and Select Suppliers
  3. Direct the Advertising Production Process
  4. Evaluate Advertising Production

At the conclusion of this course, you will be asked to complete an assessment. The information contained in this resource will assist you to complete this task.


COURSE CONTENT
Plan the Production Process for Advertisements

  • Confirm the timing and budgetary requirements for creative and production work
  • Assess the creative brief and identify factors that influence the production process
  • Investigate and determine production processes to suit the advertising brief, creative work and the advertising medium
  • Determine the specifications to suit both the advertisement and production process
  • Schedule pre-production work to meet production and post-production requirements
  • Plan a production schedule to meet the requirements of the advertising brief and media plan
  • Assessment - ‘True’ or ‘False’ Quiz.

Evaluate and Select Suppliers

  • Identify suppliers for each element in the production process
  • Assess suppliers in terms of their expertise and capacity to meet production, budget and schedule requirements
  • Base choice of suppliers on merit and value for money and their capacity to meet legal and ethical requirements
  • Brief and gain agreement from suppliers on the production, schedule and process requirements
  • Assessment - ‘True’ or ‘False’ Quiz.

Direct the Advertising Production Process

  • Integrate the management of all aspects of the production process to meet the requirements of the advertising brief and schedule
  • Involve creative specialists in the production process to solve creative problems and to advise on creative changes to ensure the resulting advertisement is consistent with the objective and positioning for the product and service
  • Ensure the outputs from the production process meet the requirements of the production schedule, creative brief and media plan and meet the legal and ethical requirements
  • Assessment - ‘True’ or ‘False’ Quiz.

Evaluate Advertising Production

  • Evaluate the quality and cost-effectiveness of the production processes and report against the requirements of the creative brief
  • Ensure evaluation processes are valid and measure quality against the standards established in the creative brief
  • Evaluate the final advertisement in relation to the requirements of the creative brief
  • Assessment - ‘True’ or ‘False’ Quiz.

  • No qualifications or special knowledge of a subject is required unless specified.
  • A certificate is issued automatically once the course test is completed with a 90% success rate.

REFUND POLICY

  • Once you log into the course, no refunds will be issued.
  • Refunds/Deferral (into a different course) are processed only within 29 days after the issue of the log-in and only in cases when the log-in was NEVER used.
