This course is all about being able to identify, evaluate, and take advantage of marketing opportunities by analysing market data, distinguishing the characteristics of possible markets, and assessing the viability of changes to operations.


This course is broken up into three (3) sections. They are:

  1. Identify Market Opportunities
  2. Investigate Marketing Opportunities
  3. Evaluate Required Changes to Current Operations

At the conclusion of this course, you will be asked to complete an assessment. The information contained in this resource will assist you to complete this task.


COURSE CONTENT
Identify Marketing Opportunities

  • Analyse information on market and business needs to identify marketing opportunities
  • Research potential new markets and assess opportunities to enter, shape or influence the market in terms of likely contribution to the business
  • Explore entrepreneurial, innovative approaches and creative ideas for their potential business application, and develop into potential marketing opportunities
  • Assessment - ‘True’ or ‘False’ Quiz.

Investigate Marketing Opportunities

  • Identify and analyse opportunities in terms of their likely fit within organisational goals and capabilities
  • Evaluate each opportunity to determine its impact on current business and customer base
  • Use an assessment of external factors, costs, benefits risks and opportunities to determine the financial viability of each marketing opportunity
  • Determine probable return on investment and potential competitors
  • Describe and rank marketing opportunities in terms of their viability and likely contribution to the business
  • Assessment - ‘True’ or ‘False’ Quiz.

Evaluate Required CHanges to Current Operations

  • Identify and document changes needed to current operations to take advantage of viable marketing opportunities
  • Ensure organisational changes to service an increased or different customer base include provision for continued quality of service to exisiting customers
  • Estimate resource requirements for changed operations
  • Determine and communicate viability of making changes to current operations to key stakeholders
  • Document newly identified marketing opportunities and required changes
  • Assessment - ‘True’ or ‘False’ Quiz.

  • A certificate is issued automatically once the course test is completed with a 90% success rate.

REFUND POLICY

  • Once you log into the course, no refunds will be issued.
  • Refunds/Deferral (into a different course) are processed only within 29 days after the issue of the log-in and only in cases when the log-in was NEVER used.
