Organised by the National Gallery, London, Art Exhibitions Australia and the National Gallery of Australia this exhibition provides an overview of 450 years of western European art through 7 defining periods, 61 art works painted by 56 artists: From Italian Renaissance painting; Dutch painting of the Golden Age; Van Dyck and British portraiture; The Grand Tour; The discovery of Spain; Landscape and the picturesque; and France and the rise of modern art. This course will be conducted in French and will require at least a B1 level of knowledge.

This class will be delivered online via the online platform Zoom. Enrolling students need to ensure they have an email, a reliable internet connection, microphone/speakers and access to a tablet, smartphone or computer.
