Improve your confidence and motivation in Spanish by assessing and perfecting your pronunciation. Through explanation, demonstration and the practice of drills, you will learn basic concepts of Spanish phonetics in order to understand native speakers better and sound more like one of them. This course is for students that can already read and understand Spanish and does not provide instruction in grammar, writing, spelling or comprehension. The class is conducted solely in Spanish.

• Syllables and syllable stress
• Word and sentence stress
• Rhythm
• Intonation
• Connected speech (linking)
