An early 19th century court case, a land grant and a joke led to an exciting inner-city suburb changing from cornfields and cow paddocks to Sydney’s industrial heart. Today it is a neighbourhood of modern city living, culture, entertainment and education. Wind your way from Darling Harbour to Railway Square and explore the history of this vibrant inner city precinct. Meet outside the Southern Entrance of the Australian National Maritime Museum, Darling Harbour 10 minutes before the tour starts so it can commence on time.
