Sydney boasts a variety of beautiful 19th century sandstone buildings. One cluster of such buildings is located along Bridge St at the Northern end of the CBD. Not only are these buildings architecturally impressive and showcasing fascinating features, but many interesting stories are attached to the people planning, constructing and using them. Join Jo Gerk on a leisurely two hour stroll of discovery around the neighbourhood, which also includes other sights, stories and pieces of trivia along the way. Buildings featured on this walk include Customs House, Police & Justice Museum, Treasury, Colonial Secretary’s Building, Department of Education and Department of Lands. Meet at Big Bus Stop 1 - First Fleet Park, George Street, Circular Quay 10 minutes before the tour starts so it can commence on time.

This walk will go ahead whatever the weather, except where the guide deems there to be a threat to health and safety. In this situation you will be contacted with an alternative date.
