Australia surely has no road with a more colourful past than the Old Hume Highway. Explorers, pioneers, highwaymen, bushrangers, convicts and the law have all played their part in establishing the route of this major inter-capital road. Our journey today, is to follow this most historic of Australian routes and rediscover its story and the lost towns of the Old Hume Highway.
