This course covers all the main verb tenses of the Intermediate level A2 of the European Framework for Language. It focuses on revising and practising past (passato prossimo and imperfetto), conditional, future and imperative. The course provides theory and practice in all the main language skills: reading, listening, writing and speaking. Approximately 180 hours of prior learning assumed or completed chapter 8 of Nuovo Espresso 2 (students are assumed to have some prior knowledge of all the covered tenses. Activities and exercises are A2 level – European Framework of Reference for Language).

This class will be delivered online via the online platform Zoom. Enrolling students need to ensure they have an email, a reliable internet connection, microphone/speakers and access to a tablet, smartphone or computer. Classes will consist of a minimum of 1.5 hours virtual class time, together with 30 minutes worth of work to be completed independently. You will be able to contact your tutor by email or phone to ask for guidance and feedback on this work. In addition tutors may set additional homework.

LANGUAGE CLASS TRANSFER POLICY

If you are a new WEA Student and enrol into a language class and subsequently find that you are at the wrong level (whether too high or too low), you are permitted to transfer into another more suitable class at no additional cost, provided that the request is made within the first two classes and is in writing from your tutor directly to the Education Manager. After that point, an administration fee of $30 will apply.
